Opening of the Photo Exhibition Dedicated to T.A. Mussabayev

On September 8, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., within the framework of the international forum “Space Days in Kazakhstan”, a photo gallery was presented in memory of pilot-cosmonaut, People’s Hero of Kazakhstan, Talgat Amangeldiyevich Mussabayev.

Forum participants and guests viewed photographs of the legendary cosmonaut, unique images of his work in space, and a documentary film about the professional and personal journey of T.A. Mussabayev.

The event was attended by his wife Viktoria, children, and grandchildren. Colleagues and associates of the first former head of the National Space Agency shared their memories of working together. Cosmonauts from Russia and Mongolia, who came to Almaty for the forum, spoke about what a true professional their friend had been.

The opening ceremony of the photo exhibition was moderated by journalist Sara Nurgaliyeva, chronicler of Kazakhstan’s space history.
